A vulnerability has been reported in the popular Java logging library – log4j.

The issue has been reported under CVE-2021-44228 and warns about possible remote code execution (RCE).

This may affect any applications using the log4j library and/or componnents depending on it.

The vulnerability is reported as a very high risk and immediate action is recommended.

The affected versions are any log4j between version 2.0 up to 2.14.
