Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Last updated: 3 September 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all CloudBalkan Services. Its purpose is to protect customers, third parties and the CloudBalkan platform from unlawful, abusive or disruptive use.

1. Lawful use

You may not use CloudBalkan Services to commit, facilitate or promote unlawful activity, or to store, publish or distribute material that is unlawful in the applicable jurisdiction.

2. Security abuse and malicious activity

  • Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks or data.
  • Distribution, hosting or operation of malware, ransomware, credential stealers, botnets or other malicious software.
  • Phishing, credential theft, impersonation, online fraud or services primarily intended to enable them.
  • Denial-of-service attacks, amplification attacks, traffic flooding or deliberate disruption of networks or services.
  • Unauthorized vulnerability scanning, port scanning or probing of third-party systems where you do not have permission.
  • Spoofing or manipulation of network identity intended to conceal abuse or interfere with other systems.

3. Spam and messaging abuse

CloudBalkan Services may not be used to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, mail-bombing or deceptive messaging. Customers operating legitimate mailing systems are responsible for consent, list hygiene, complaint handling and compliance with applicable anti-spam laws.

4. Prohibited content

  • Content that unlawfully infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights.
  • Child sexual abuse material or content that exploits or endangers children.
  • Content used primarily to enable fraud, phishing, malware distribution or other criminal activity.
  • Adult or sexually explicit content, consistent with CloudBalkan's existing service policy.

5. Network and resource abuse

You may use the resources allocated to your Service for legitimate workloads. You may not intentionally evade technical limits, interfere with shared infrastructure, degrade the Services of other customers, or operate workloads designed primarily to consume shared resources in a way that threatens platform stability.

6. Evasion and repeated abuse

You may not create multiple accounts, identities or Services for the purpose of bypassing an enforcement action, product restriction, rate limit or other CloudBalkan control.

7. Enforcement

CloudBalkan may investigate suspected violations and may restrict, suspend or terminate affected Services. For an active attack, phishing campaign, malware distribution or other urgent threat, action may be taken without prior notice.

Where appropriate, CloudBalkan may preserve relevant records and cooperate with competent authorities in response to valid legal requests.

8. Reporting abuse

To report suspected abuse originating from CloudBalkan, email support@cloudbalkan.com with the subject “Abuse report”. Include the affected IP address or domain, timestamps, logs or message headers where relevant, and a concise description of the issue.
